Neuropsychology Assessments
Clinical neuropsychology assesses memory, attention, concentration, learning, problem solving and decision making.
The assessments are particularly relevant to people who have been affected by cognitive changes as the result a head injury, stroke, excessive alcohol or drug use, epilepsy, and other conditions that may affect brain function.
An assessment can take about 3 hours or more, but it can be divided into several sessions.
A Neuropsychology Assessment can assess:
- Thinking and personality changes after an accident (e.g. car accident, falls, sports injuries etc)
- Effects of alcohol and drugs on brain (e.g. memory loss, concentration difficulties)
- Learning difficulties
